I feel very plain and uninspired with my appearance lately… I feel like i lack the creativity I use to use to individualize myself. I guess I haven’t really had the time nor money in the past year, to put effort into it, but regardless it’s been really bumming me out.

PSA: taking St. John’s Wort (a great natural remedy for depression and anxiety) can reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills.
Everyone should be aware of this! It should be written on the fucking bottle! Also, do not take St. John’s wort with any other kind of antidepressant or visa versa. It will lead to massive contraindications.

Home made dandelion root, cocoa and rose “coffee” alternative.
I’ve been hitting the long blacks a bit hard lately and my body needs a break, although my head is insistent I need a cup. So to sooth my cravings, I brewed this concoction inspired by a friends (luca-lenus) recipe. it’s so freaking yummy!
Dandelion root- some say the taste and smell can be compared to the bitterness of the humble coffee bean, and honesty, I’d agree in some aspects. It contains quite a lot of potassium too, which leaves you feeling bright eyes and bushy tailed.
Aside from the coffee comparisons, it also has a number of health benefits; bladder, kidney, liver and digestive tonic, which can help rid your body of toxins. It stimulates appetite but can also help with weight loss and water retention. Its been known to purify blood, regulate blood sugar and improve circulation, which in turn, improves the condition of the skin and strengthens the immune system.
